Kaine Hieber
We are thrilled to announce that Kaine Hieber in Year 11, has been selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Junior World Karate Championships in Venice, Italy! In addition to this incredible honor, Kaine will be attending training camps in Milan to sharpen his skills. His schedule will also include representing NSW at the Australian National Championships in Geelong and participating in a National Training Camp to prepare for the World Championships. Let's show Kaine all our support as he embarks on this amazing journey!

Congratulations to John James in Year 12, who has been selected in the provisional (24 players) Under 19 Australian cricket squad! If successful, he could tour India and participate in the Under 19 World Cup in Namibia. On top of this incredible achievement, Cricket NSW has awarded John the prestigious Basil Sellers Sport Scholarship. He will receive the award at the SCG later this month. Join us in congratulating John on these amazing accomplishments and wishing him the best of luck in his upcoming endeavors.

Congratulations to Cooper Armstrong in Year 8, Nat O'Shea in Year 8 and Brodie Cooper-Girard in Year 9 who represented the Central Coast at the recent NSW Junior Rugby Union State Championships in Dubbo, the boys played in the Under 14's age group.  A great effort boys.

Congratulations to Lincoln Markulin in Year 12, for his outstanding Javelin throw! Lincoln not only set a new personal best but also shattered the College Javelin record at the recent College Athletics Carnival, with an impressive throw of 53 m. This remarkable feat showcases his hard work, dedication, and incredible talent in the sport.  Well done Lincoln!

Cooper Jones
Congratulations to Cooper Jones in Year 11 who competed in the Australian Junior (Under 13 - Under 20) Track and Field Championships in Adelaide over the recent school holidays. Cooper placed 11th overall (but one of the boys who beat him was from New Zealand so Cooper finished 10th in Australia for the 400m). He was 0.2 seconds off making the final, and ran a personal best time of 49:82 which has already qualified him for the Under 20's (age group) for nationals next year. An outstanding accomplishment Cooper!

Congratulations to Harry Cockerton, in Year 11, who recently showcased his exceptional skills by securing a well-deserved silver medal at the Central Coast Australian Federation of Brasilian Jiu Jitsu Open's Tournament. Remarkably, this tournament marked Harry's inaugural participation in Jiu-Jitsu competitions, making his achievement all the more impressive.

Tahj Regattieri
An outstanding CCC Swimming Carnival for Tahj Regattieri in Year 10. Tahj placed 2nd in the Under 16's 50 m Butterfly, 2nd in the Under 16 100 m Backstroke, 2nd in the Under 16 100 m Butterfly and 1st in the Under 16 50 m Backstroke.  He was also a member of the Intermediate Medley Relay team placing 3rd.  An incredible day in the pool Tahj!

Cooper Armstrong
Congratulations to Cooper Armstrong, in Year 8 and a rookie member of the Terrigal Surf Lifesaving Club, for his recent involvement in a surf rescue between Terrigal and Wamberal Beaches. While on roving patrol with another rookie club member, Cooper swiftly responded to an alert from a member of the public on a surfboard. Cooper and his club mate effectively assisted two struggling swimmers caught in a rip, maintaining composure and ensuring the safety of the patients, keeping them above water, until IRB assistance arrived.  One of the patients was having breathing difficulties after swallowing a large amount of water and was later transported via Ambulance. This outstanding achievement by Cooper exemplifies excellent use of skills acquired through SLS training. A great effort Cooper and one to be extremely proud of.

SLS Silver Medal
Congratulations to Zac Donnelly, Riley Herring, and Beau McKeon, all in Year 7 and competing for Terrigal Surf Lifesaving Club, for their remarkable achievement of winning the silver medal at the NSW State Surf Lifesaving Championships in the Under 12 Beach Sprint Relay. This accomplishment is a testament to their dedication, skill, and hard work in surf lifesaving. It's truly commendable that this is the fourth consecutive year these talented boys have secured a medal in this event, showcasing their consistent excellence in team work and commitment to their sport. Well done to Zac, Riley, and Beau for their outstanding performance.
