Our students rose to the occasion, with their enthusiastic participation and excellent behaviour shining throughout the event.

Strong levels of involvement led to some closely contested events across multiple age groups.

Some incredible performances saw long-standing records fall! Callan Atherton and Jack Sullivan went head-to-head in an exciting Under 13 Discus event. Both boys broke the previous record, but Callan came out on top for the Discus.  Both boys ended up smashing all the Under 13 throwing records! Not to be outdone, Cooper Jones flew down the track and set a brand-new record in the Opens 100m sprint.

New records set:

Event Record Name House
Under 13 Discus 43.41 m Callan Atherton Knight
Under 13 Shot Put 13.86 m Callan Atherson Knights
Under 13 Javelin 36.01 m Jack Sullivan Spillane
Opens 100 m 11.35 sec Cooper Jones Knights

The fantastic day concluded with a fiercely contested House Competition, ultimately decided by the results of the 100m Finals. Knights House emerged victorious with 788 points, closely followed by Spillane on 771. Shanahan claimed third place with 678 points, and Doolan finished fourth with 481.

The carnival was a resounding success—thanks not only to the enthusiastic participation of the boys, but also to the unwavering dedication of the staff who expertly coordinated events and provided supervision throughout the day.
